How to Place an Avon Order Online

The Avon representative website gives you access to your representative account and allows you to browse the digital brochure, select products and quantities, manage your order and submit it to Avon.

If you’re an Avon representative in Southern Africa, you can place your customer orders online through your Avon representative website.

Once you’re appointed and registered, your representative website gives you access to your ordering tools, training resources and other information to help you manage your Avon business.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to place an Avon order for your customers through your Representative account.

What you need before placing an Avon order

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • An active Avon Representative account
  • Your Avon account number and password
  • Your customers’ product codes and quantities
  • Any additional products you want to order for your business

If you’re a new Representative, you’ll need to register your account before you can access the app.

How to place an Avon order online

1. Log in to your representative website

Start by logging into your representative account on the Avon rep website

2. Select Place an order from the menu or button on the page

The exact layout of the website can change as Avon updates its digital tools, but it is generally located on the menu bar.

2. Select the Start my order button

This starts a new order.

3. Add your product codes and quantities

Note: Check your product codes carefully, as some offers on the page may have a special bundle offer code.

4. Save and continue

At this point you can save, or just scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the continue button. This will also prompt you to save your order.

5. Order demos

Here you can select any demo offers from the Avon Focus magazine, or select continue to move on. Note that you can also enter the codes for demos, brochures and sales aids in the same section as the regular product codes.

6. Your offers

Here you can select any special offers available, or select continue to move on.

7. Review your saved order

Once you’ve entered all your customers’ products, go through your order carefully.
This is one of the most important steps.

Check:

  • Have you included every customer order?
  • Do the product descriptions match the product you intended to order?
  • Are the quantities correct?
  • Does the order total look right?

Note: The prices displayed at this stage are at brochure price. No rep discounts have been applied yet.

8. Additional step

Should your order include any out of stock or discontinued items, you will be prompted to take specific action before the order can be processed.

Delete any items with a grey dot indicator. You may choose to have items placed on your back order by selecting the wait for stock option.

Back order items are automatically added to the next order you place, provided it is in stock at that time, and invoiced at the price applicable to the campaign of when it was placed on your back order.

The default address for your profile will be reflected here, but you may choose any other physical address or a collection point.

Please note that door deliveries are charged at an extra fee.

10. Submit the order

You’re now on the final page before submitting your order, so take a moment to review everything carefully.

Don’t rush this step.

Once your order has been submitted and accepted, there are limits on making changes or cancelling it. Once an order has been invoiced, it cannot be altered or cancelled. It’s worth taking an extra minute to make sure everything is correct before you submit.

On this page, you’ll be able to see:

  • Your price: the amount you pay for each product.
  • Customer price: the brochure price your customer pays.
  • Your earnings: the difference between your price and the customer price.

Further down the page, you’ll find your demo products and sales aids listed under “Items with no discount.”

Check your account charges

Take note of “Charges To Your Account.” This section shows any applicable administration and delivery fees being added to your account.

Check your final total

At the bottom of the page, you’ll see “Estimated Total Amount.” This is the total at your Avon representative price for the order.

Directly below this, you’ll see the total brochure price for the order.

If you have a pre-paid account, the lower of these two amounts is the amount you need to pay for the order to be released for invoicing.

Once you’ve checked all of these details and you’re happy with your order, you can submit it.

If your order has not yet been invoiced, you can place another order for the additional products. They will be merged at invoicing time. If you’re unsure whether you can still place an order for that campaign, check with your Sales Leader or Avon support.

Once an order has been invoiced, it cannot be changed or cancelled.

Yes. The Avon rep website allows you to save partial orders. You can login at a later stage in the same campaign to add further product codes and submit the order. These are called pending orders. Pending orders are automatically discarded at the end of the campaign.

Always check the product description and quantity before submitting your order. If you notice the mistake while you’re still building the order, correct it before you submit. If you’ve already submitted it, don’t assume you can change it later. You may need to return the unwanted product.

Don’t automatically substitute a different product. Check the current product information and availability first, then let your customer know what options are available. If the product isn’t available for the campaign, you can discuss an alternative with your customer before placing the order.

Your order is successfully placed when you see the “your order has been submitted” page. You can also view submitted orders under the “order tracking”. These are all indicators that your order has been submitted. They are also followed by SMS notifications to the number on your profile. These actions usually occur within an hour of submitting your order. If you have not received any of the above, it’s best to check as your order may still be pending.
