Avon account types
AVON ACCOUNT TYPES
After your application has been processed, you will be notified about what type of account you have been assigned.
Here is a quick overview of the Avon account types.
Avon cash account
- Also referred to as a pay-as-you-go account
- With this account type you will pay up front for customer orders.
- You place your order and receive an sms notifying you of the amount to pay.
- Once payment is received, your order will be invoiced and dispatched to you.
Avon credit account
- Should your credit score allow, you may receive a credit limit from Avon.
- This allows you to place orders, receive products and then pay your account within 21 days of the invoice date.
- If your account becomes overdue, you will not be able to place another order until the previous one is paid. A late payment fee will apply.
Notes on Avon account types
- The account type you are assigned is based on your individual ITC credit score, as stipulated by the South African National Credit Act.
- You may request to be given a cash account before your application is submitted, if you do not wish to apply for credit.
- Should you not qualify for a credit limit during your initial application submission, you may request a credit limit review after a period of 6 campaigns of consecutive orders.
- Regardless of your account type, you will always pay the discounted price and your customers will pay the price displayed in the brochure. The difference between the two is your earnings.
